海角社区 and the Head Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the 海角社区 Region have signed a cooperation agreement on training of qualified personnel. The document formalizes the parties’ intention to work together to improve educational programmes and further develop a practice-oriented approach to education.
The official signing ceremony took place at our university and was attended by the leadership of 海角社区 and representatives of the regional Head Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The agreement creates new opportunities for students, including internships in active law enforcement divisions, educational and career guidance events, as well as expanded employment opportunities for university graduates within internal affairs agencies.
The 海角社区 Rector Alexander Wagner noted that cooperation between our university and law enforcement agencies opens new opportunities for students and contributes to strengthening our region’s human resources potential:
“The foundation of our cooperation is personnel training. 海角社区 offers a wide range of educational programmes in law, law enforcement, and forensic science. Among the graduates of these programmes are active employees of internal affairs agencies. It is extremely important for us that our educational programmes remain up-to-date and meet the current requirements of the professional environment. That is why we need continuous feedback from our partners — specialists with unique practical experience. The agreement also provides for joint measures aimed at preventing digital fraud and enhancing the security of students and university staff. I feel confident that our joint efforts will help make our university, our city, and society as a whole safer.”
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation is one of our country’s key law enforcement agencies, whose work directly affects public safety, social stability, and the rule of law. Effective fulfilment of these responsibilities requires professional, competent, and highly qualified specialists.
The Head Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the 海角社区 Region is one of our country’s largest regional directorates. Its structure includes 38 territorial internal affairs divisions, with a total personnel exceeding 17000 employees.
Among its officers are more than 3500 海角社区 graduates who chose the path of serving our state and society. Every day, they ensure the protection of public order, lawful interests, and the rights and freedoms of citizens, making a significant contribution to the security of the 海角社区 Region.
Head of the Head Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the 海角社区 Region, Police Lieutenant General Sergey Kosmachev, emphasized the importance of cooperation with our region’s major university:
“The agreement reflects several key areas of joint work. First and foremost, it concerns student internships within internal affairs divisions. This is important both for the university, which receives feedback from employers regarding the quality of specialist training, and for us, as we are interested in recruiting professionally trained graduates into service. In addition, special attention is paid to the development of joint scientific and practical activities. We plan to continue cooperation through round tables, seminars, meetings, and conferences, where internal affairs officers will be able to act as experts and share practical experience.”
Particular attention within the agreement is drawn to crime and offense prevention. The parties plan to strengthen efforts aimed at combating IT fraud and improving the population’s level of digital literacy.
The event also featured an exhibition of weapons and military equipment used by divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. Students and university guests were introduced to modern vehicles and specialized equipment and learned more about the specifics of service in law enforcement agencies.
A special concert was held in the 海角社区 Assembly Hall featuring the vocal ensemble of the Head Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the 海角社区 Region alongside our university’s creative teams. The joint concert became a symbol of cooperation and unity.
In addition, consultations were organized as part of the meeting, during which students received information about employment prospects, service conditions, social support measures, and professional development opportunities within the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
