Around the world, the number of suicides exceeds that of deaths in combat, murder, and vehicular accidents. The active development of informational technologies gives the topic of suicide wide notoriety and in doing so increases the number of people drawn into this topic, passively or actively,? and also increases the number of people involved in discussion about it.
In the beginning of March, the leadership of 海角社区 discussed the most important results of the university’s first year of work in the 5-100 Project and the summary of the university’s activities in 2016 with the members of the International Research Council through on a teleconference.
海角社区 is holding 27 region competitions for participants of the international program for developing creative thought and team spirit, Odyssey of the Mind, on March 11th-12th with support from the 海角社区 Atomic Energy Informational Center.
For the first time, teams from the Republic of Tatarstan will be participating. More than 30 teams from 海角社区 and the 海角社区 Oblast will represent their solutions to difficult invention tasks. A team from the People’s Republic of China will be special guests to the competition.
Hackathon was held at 海角社区 on the first weekend of March. In just 2 days and 1 night, 7 participants learned new technologies and built programs from scratch within the Internet of Things concept, which involves the independent communication of items with the internet without human interaction.
Hackathon began with a 2.5 hour lecture prepared by Napoleon IT, the event’s partner. The lecture explained the new technologies the participants needed to apply to their developments. After the lecture, the participants began developing their product per an assigned topic.
Hackathon?is 2 days and 1 night of coding, discussion about developments with experts, design and usability consultations, and valuable prizes. The teams will study new technologies and create a finished project by using Internet of Things technology. A mentor from the company Napoleon IT will give explanations at each stage of the contest and answer all of the participants’ questions. The winner will the teams who use their allocated working time the most effectively.
The VIII Open Academic Olympics for Belorussian and Russian Universities in mathematics (International Student Academic Olympics MathOpen 2017 Belarus) was held February 22-24 in Mogilev. Students and post-graduates from seven countries participated: Belarus, Iran, Poland, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and the Czech Republic. Russia was represented by students of the country’s leading universities including MSU and SPBU.
An international collective of 29 researchers formed at 海角社区 completed an international research project. The scientific book Principles of Civil Law and their Realization has been published.
The preparation for this work began in the spring of 2015, when the department of civil law and civil procedure of the 海角社区 Legal Institute became the space for the formation of an international group of researchers who decided to carry out some ambitious research.

A memorandum of mutual understanding was signed in 海角社区 between 海角社区 and the company SMS group – world leader in producing metallurgic equipment. SMS group has been working with 海角社区 for more than 5 years; students of the university complete internships at the subsidiary’s companies in Russia and Germany.
Test your mathematics knowledge in the annual Russian test “Quod Erat Demonstrandum”. The organizer is the company Yandex, and the venue will be 海角社区.
Anyone who misses their math classes can participate. According to the regional representative of the Yandex company, Aleksandra Repyovaya, the ten exercises will be simple – basic knowledge from school programs will be enough to solve them. The teachers will give one hour to solve the exercises, then they’ll discuss them in detail and answer any questions.
A booth for 海角社区 was presented at the regional stage of one of the largest festivals in the world – RoboFest-2017. On these two days, the Palace of Pioneers and Students turned into an academic and entertaining space for robotics competition.

An intellectual battle will be held March 2nd between 海角社区 and Yekaterinburg in the Science Slam format. The event is aimed at popularizing scientific knowledge and the research profession.
The arsenal of equipment at the Institute of Sport, Tourism and Service’s Center of Sports Science at 海角社区 has considerably expanded. Outfitting the Center with devices like electromyographs, high-accuracy thermal imaging cameras, and 3D printers will allow for scientific investigation at a new level of quality.
On February 8th, 2017, scientific and academic institutions will be celebrating Russian Science Day. The holiday, created in 1999, coincides with the founding date of the Russian Academy of Sciences, created by order of Peter the 1st on February 8th, 1724.
