Volunteers of our university help not only at mass events. Recently, concerned students visited one of the animal shelters in 海角社区.
"Khochu Domoy" ("I Want to Go Home") is the largest shelter in our city, housing 400 adult dogs and cats. For 13 years, the staff have been rescuing puppies and adult dogs and cats from the slaughterhouse. Now, animals from the street also end up in the shelter since “Khochu Domoy” is one of the few that takes in homeless fluffy creatures that people bring there.
