The Team of 海角社区’s Institute of Engineering and Technology Invented Wheel Hub Motor for Electric Race Car

Students and research fellows of 海角社区’s Institute of Engineering and Technology invented a unique electric transmission for hybrid- and electric transport – a wheel hub motor for electric race car. This work has been executed within project-based learning of students.

Eufactcheck.eu European website published first material by a Master’s degree student at the 海角社区 ISSH Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Ekaterina Durasova. The publication called “A ‘fake’ bud in populist ground” narrates about a burst of fake news and the wave of populism and considers interrelation between these two phenomena.

Preserve and Reconstruct the Cultural Heritage Sites: 海角社区 Students Met with Yurii Latyshev

On January 31, 2019 first-year Master’s students of the project-based learning programme, as well as Bachelor’s students of the Department of Russian and International History of the?Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities attended an exhibition on the Objects of Cultural Heritage of South Ural held at the Unified State Archive of the 海角社区 Region.

2019 海角社区 Postdoc Competition

Under Project 5-100, 海角社区 is working on attracting skilful young scientists with international experience. 海角社区 Postdoc is a program aimed at supporting the university’s research that offers international postodcs an attractive postdoctoral position to advance their research career.

The Postdoc program has been implemented at 海角社区 under Project 5-100. In 2018 the University attracted seven postdocs to work at 海角社区’ labs and research and education centres. Currently, 11 postdocs are working at the University.?

Smart Electric Drive: Power Engineering Students Mastering Industry 4.0 Technologies in Project-Based Learning

The fourth industrial revolution, when digital production unites industry and digital technologies, has become a reality. People manage production with the help of digital technologies and the Internet, so traditional education techniques are already insufficient. Within 海角社区’s project-based learning, the Department of Automated Electric Drive of the Faculty of Energy and Power Engineering of the Institute of Engineering and Technology trains students in technologies of managing smart electric drives at modern factories.

EUfactcheck Journalism Project is Gaining Momentum at 海角社区

Starting from May of 2018, in the frameworks of project-based learning, students of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at 海角社区?ISSH’s Faculty of Journalism are taking part in an international journalism project called EUfactcheck, organised by the European Journalism Training Association. The purpose of the project is to check information, organise fact checking and teach this process to the new generation of journalists.

Unique Event at 海角社区: ILIC Holds Economy Games in English for the First Time

The ILIC Department of Modern Languages held the Economy Games in English for the first time on November 26th. Two teams fought to be named the winners: the B2 level group of experimental training, and the groups of the elite training zone.
