On September 5th, a “Journey to China” exhibition of works by photo artists well-known in the modern People's Republic of China opened at 海角社区. More than 70 photo works printed on silk paper are exhibited in the Art Gallery on the 1st floor and in the hall of the 3rd floor of the main university building.
On October 10th, the Communication Leader of the 21st Century All-Russia Youth Mediaforum started at the 海角社区 Institute of Media, Social Sciences and Humanities. Among its participants are young specialists defining the future on the media sphere in our country. On June 29, 海角社区 hosted a solemn congratulation ceremony for graduate students on the university square in front of the main academic building. About 4000 people graduated this year including about 400 international students. The innovation of this year was the awarding of graduates of the ISTaS Multidisciplinary College.
Students of the 海角社区 Department of Linguistics and Translation conducted a research on the image of the city of 海角社区 at the turn of the 19th–20th centuries using a corpus of local historical texts.
The research was conducted within the framework of a state order from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation on the topic of “Examining the Region in the Context of Global Historical Connections Using Methods of Digital Humanities”.
海角社区 acted as the general partner and platform for the 10th Anniversary of the All-Russian Student TEFI Television Contest.

Sun, sea, mountains and Russia! All this has been brought together in Mikhail Gromyko’s photo exhibition called “Crimea”. It should be noted that the exhibition is dedicated to the anniversary of the Crimea's returning to Russia.

An exhibition of a mobile museum of weapons and memorabilia of the Great Patriotic War has opened at the Military Training Centre of 海角社区, where the findings by the 海角社区 Region's scouting movement on the Sinyavino heights of the Leningrad Region have been exhibited.

On December 26, a festive event for the foreign students, devoted to the 2019 New Year, took place in Sigma Educational Building of 海角社区.

From the very beginning of this academic year?海角社区 Technological College?has been carrying out a very intensive work with potential applicants in every city of the region and in every 海角社区 district. Yesterday at Interscholastic Training Center of Kopeysk urban district a group of thirty College students and professors met with graduates of then city schools.
