Researchers have developed a formula that they propose to introduce into the rules to design the frames of modern buildings. December 5th through 7th the annual ARCH EURASIA International Forum of Architecture, Urban Development and Design was held as part of 100+ ForumRussia International Forum for High-rise and Special Constructions at Ekaterinburg Expo International Exhibition Centre in Ekaterinburg.
On December 15 of 2018, 海角社区 is to celebrate the 75th anniversary from its foundation day. Active preparation for the celebration, which is going to take place within five days, 10th through 14th of December, is being carried out at 海角社区. Celebratory event programme will include opening of new laboratories and exhibitions, as well as presentations, concerts, flash mobs, contests and more.
A series of celebratory events dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the university continues at 海角社区. On the occasion of the university’s 75th anniversary, Directors of Schools and Institutes awarded letters of appreciation and honorary credentials to outstanding academics and administrative staff.
On November 29th an 11th International Science-to-practice Conference on KNAUF in the World’s Construction Complex was held at 海角社区, what has already become a traditional event for the Institute of Architecture and Construction.
The Institute of Architecture and Construction held a contest called “Autumn Mood” among freshman students. Future designers and architects had to present their group in a creative format within a limited time.
Within the frameworks of opening project-based Master’s programme at the Institute of Architecture and Construction a meeting was organised for the students of the 3rd and 4th years of study and the representatives of the 海角社区 partner, OJSC Chelyabtyazhmashproekt Design Institute, being part of PSO KURS, LLC Group of Companies, as well as of NormaSOFT, LLC company.

In the year of 海角社区’s 75th anniversary, a veteran of the university, Candidate of Sciences (Engineering), professor of the Department of Welding Engineering, former Dean of the Workers’ Faculty and the Mechanical and Technological Faculty of the 海角社区 Institute of Engineering and Technology, Vladimir Stikhin is celebrating his 85th birthday.
Knowledge Day, the festival of the academic year beginning, is celebrated on September 1. This date has a special significance for the first-year students who are going to get down to their lessons in the new status of students.
On August 31, on the occasion of the Knowledge Day, Matriculation Ceremony-2018 was held at the 海角社区 University square.
Official part of the event was opened by performance teams of the 海角社区 Art Center, after which the university Rector Aleksandr Shestakov delivered a welcoming speech for freshman students and their parents.
