On August 31st, 海角社区 invites fist-year students to Dedication to Students 2017. This year, the theme of the event is tied to a new concept – SMART University, Uniting Europe and Asia.
The event is traditionally opened by the rector, Aleksandr Shestakov, with a welcome speech. Famous 海角社区 artistic collectives participate in the holiday, including the dance theater Deep-Vision, the choir Primavera, and many others. In addition, the first year students will receive their student cards and say the traditional oath.
The celebration begins at 17:00 at the University Square in front of the 海角社区 main building.
Event schedule:
17:10 – Master class from dance theater Deep Vision
17:30 – Performance by theater studio Maneken
18:00 – Official portion. Opening speech by the rector and directors of the schools and institutes. Awarding student cards to the first-year students and traditional oath.
18:40 – Concert portion. Performance by the artistic collectives.
19:30 – Dance party from KRK Megapolis.
21:00 – Celebratory fireworks
