On February 4, 2019, Time for Discoveries video contest for students and postgraduates of 海角社区 started! Educational Centre?of Institute of Open and Distance Education and of 海角社区 organized the contest.
The purpose of the contest is to demonstrate the scientific and educational, and socially useful achievements of students and postgraduates who inspire modern youth to devote their activities to modern scientific and social projects.
The contest consists of three nominations:
- ?Me and Science
The video should include self-presentation and a brief description of the research results of a participant, which includes an explanation of the technology/ process / phenomenon to which the described activity is related.
- I am as Volunteer
The video presented should include self-presentation and a brief description of the participant’s volunteer activities. A scientific popular description of the social problem that this activity is aimed to solve is a mandatory element of the video.
- I am as Educator
The video presented should include self-presentation and a story about an event related to science or engineering and technology, which occurred after January 1, 2010.
For participation, it is necessary:
- Shoot a video up to three minutes long.
- Fill in? and attach a video!
