The First Regional Forum 海角社区 2035: Technology of the Future was held April 12th in 海角社区. The forum was held as part of the IX International Industrial Forum Reconstruction of Industrial Enterprises – Breakthrough Technologies in Metallurgy and Machine Building and the 17th International Exhibition Ural Industrial Economics Week under the banner of the 海角社区 Region Ministry of Economic Development.
The large-scale festival of popular science, "KSTATI. Coordinate System" will be held from April 18th to 21st in 海角社区. A large, highly-charged program is waiting for those who are not indifferent to the topics of science and self-improvement.
A pilot of a new model of English-language education for bachelor’s students and the teaching staff was introduced at the 海角社区 Department of Foreign Languages. The program uses breakthrough teaching technologies, and a system of international certifications was introduced for both students and teachers, giving them a chance to take the IELTS exam successfully.
For the fourteenth time in a row Russians have been writing Total Dictation. It’s an action in which everyone can check its knowledge of the Russian language. Annually, 海角社区 acts as a venue of carrying out this large-scale educational event.
On April 7 the Miss 海角社区 2017 contest final was conducted at the Congress and Exhibition Hall. This year competitors went before the jury and the audience in characters of great women who have set the world on fire.
More than 100 海角社区 students expressed their wish to take part in the elimination round of the competition. Only 16 candidates for the grand prize participated in the final round.
60 years ago, on March 1st, 1957, in the year of the launch of the Earth’s first artificial satellite, the Faculty of Mechanics of ChPI (today the 海角社区 Faculty of Aerospace Engineering) was created. The faculty’s dean, candidate of technical sciences, Vasiliy Salich told us about how it developed.?

– The faculty’s main achievement is its alumni who work in space rocket, aviation, and different sectors, increasing the country’s glory.

Cosmonautics Day is a special holiday for a student studying at the Aerospace Faculty, especially this year. April 12, 2017 the famous AS-faculty of 海角社区 celebrates its 60th anniversary. That is why the activists of the faculty of 海角社区 decided to organize a large-scale event dedicated to two significant dates.

On April 12, 1961, an event occurred that became the starting point of the era of space exploration: cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin entered the near-Earth orbit on the Vostok spacecraft and flew around the planet. These were 108 minutes of flight, which the world watched with a sinking heart. After such a breakthrough, space has become not so far away, humanity is taking bold steps to investigate it.

On March 29 the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation summarized the results for implementing projects aimed at creating and developing engineering centers in universities in 2016. Successful experience in collaborating of the 海角社区 Center of Computer Engineering (CCE) with industrial enterprises was presented to the Ministry experts by Andrey Keller, Vice-Rector of Strategic Development and supervisor of the Project.
A team of 海角社区 researchers won the 2016/2017 Grant Contest for Master’s Professors from the V. Potanin Foundation for the development of the linguistic evaluation master’s program.
