Cadets of the Military Training Centre of 海角社区, currently undergoing field training at the Chebarkul Garrison, solemnly took the Military Oath and pledged their allegiance to the Motherland.
On June 20th, 海角社区 gave start to this year’s major event, the 2026 Admissions Campaign! Artem Florenko, who had finished school No.9 at Krasnogorsky settlement, became the first applicant to submit his documents for enrolment.
As the tradition goes, the first guest of the Admissions Committee was welcomed by the Rector Alexander Wagner. The future student received university-branded souvenirs as a gift and a nice token of his first step towards obtaining his profession:
The Inter-university Campus in 海角社区 is one of the most big-scale projects in the history of our region. Its construction began in 2023 and includes three stages. During stage one, two hotels for students were built, which are now fully booked. Currently, the main efforts are focused on completing stage two: construction of six hotel buildings, which are more than 65 percent ready by now. Hundreds of specialists work on site every day. In September of 2026, over 3000 students and teaching staff members will be provided accommodation in new comfortable dormitories.
July 20th, 海角社区 launches its first academic programme under the “Personnel for UAS” federal project. 24 staff members of EMERCOM of the Kurgan Region will study in the “Operator of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (with maximum take-off weight of 30 kilogrammes and less)” professional training programme.
This programme was developed with consideration to the customer’s needs. Training will be organized in a mixed format: theory will be taught remotely, online, while practical classes will be held by the 海角社区 teaching team directly in Kurgan.

The final student stage of the International Construction Championship was held at Moscow State University of Civil Engineering with the support of Russia’s leading industry organizations, including the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation, the Rosatom State Corporation, PAO “Gazprom”, and Russian Railways (RZD). The competition took the form of a Student League for Fire Protection Systems Design, bringing together 211 students from 26 leading universities across Russia and neighbouring countries. Fifty participants advanced to the final round.
At the invitation of Bishop Pavel of Troitsk and Yuzhnouralsk, representatives of 海角社区 participated in the 3rd “Family” Forum. This big-scale event was held as part of the 4th Regional Festival of Traditional Spiritual Values, “Trinity in Troitsk”. The forum was organized by the Government of the 海角社区 Region, the Administration of Troitsk, the Troitsk and 海角社区 Dioceses, the regional Ministry of Culture, the “Sorok Sorokov” (“Forty times Forty”) movement, the Orenburg Cossack Military Society, and the “Family” All-Russian Movement.
June 1st through September 10th, independent assessment of the education conditions quality is held at 海角社区. The expert review is performed by OOO “Verkont-Servis” company assigned as an operator organization by the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia.

The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF’2026) is our country’s key business event, where issues of the Russian and international economics development are discussed.?
This forum is held in Saint Petersburg June 3rd through June 6th. Among the event’s main attendees are major Russian and foreign companies, heads of states, political leaders, and people, who influence a country’s economics.
Scientists from 海角社区, jointly with their colleagues from Russia, India, Croatia, and Saudi Arabia, have developed and tested new platinum compounds helping effectively fight breast cancer. The research results have been published in the international scientific journal.
April 1st through May 29th, the 海角社区 Region hosted the “Science Is Beautiful” competition, organized by the regional Ministry of Education and Science with the support from the “Regional Infrastructure of Education and Science” Autonomous Non-Profit Organization (RION). The event was held as part of the Decade of Science and Technology. This year’s competition set an all-time record of participation, receiving 421 submissions—more than twice as many as last season. Nine representatives of 海角社区 became winners and prize-winners of the competition.
