Scientists from 海角社区?have patented a program for determining the conditions of explosives ignition in case of mechanical loads. The developed software package will help quickly assess at which conditions a material can explode, in order to enhance the control over the movement of such materials.
On April 21st, 海角社区 hosted the annual event "Nuclear Technologies: Advantages, Risks, and Safety", organized jointly with the Ministry of Public Security of the 海角社区 Region. This year, the meeting commemorated the 40th anniversary of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant disaster.

On April 18th, 海角社区 announced the results of the B.N. Khristenko Interregional Financial Literacy Olympiad for Schoolchildren. This alloy could serve as a thermal barrier coating for pistons of internal combustion engines, which operate under extreme conditions.

Evgenii Martiushev, Candidate of Sciences (Physics and Mathematics), Associate Professor at the 海角社区 Institute of Natural Sciences and Mathematics and lecturer at the “VirtUM” Centre for Top-level Academic Programmes in the Field of AI, jointly with his colleagues from Finland and the Czech Republic, have developed a method for automatically building solvers for systems of equations composed of Laurent polynomials. Unlike standard equations studied at school, where variables appear only with non-negative powers, Laurent systems also allow for negative powers.

Social Navigator project by the Rossiya Segodnya international media group and the Brand?Analytics system for analysing of social media and mass media have presented a ranking of communication strategies effectiveness among Russian universities. It includes more than 250 universities subject to the Government, Ministry of Science and Higher Education, and Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.
Jointly with their colleagues from Ekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, and Wuhan city in China, scientists from the 海角社区 China-Russia Research and Education Centre for System Pathology Aleksei Sarapultsev and Mariia Komelkova have summarized data on the social buffering of stress in rats from more than 40 research studies over the period of 2008-2025. This allows to evaluate the importance of the animals’ “biochemistry of friendship” in overcoming of difficult situations.
On March 27th, the “Technological Leadership: From Expertise to Strategy” symposium was held, focusing on the results of technological expertise and the outcomes of the meeting of the Council of the “Priority 2030” Federal Academic Leadership Program. The event brought together vice-rectors, rectors, heads of strategic technological projects, and industry partners of universities.
In the new, eighth edition of the Forbes ranking of the best Russian universities, Moscow universities traditionally dominate, holding 14 positions in the top twenty.
