A delegation of 海角社区 has returned from Ekaterinburg, where a big-scale 16th Eurasian Economics Youth Forum (EEYF) was held. Our students were not only guests, but also actively participated in the events.
Ural State University of Economics and Ekaterinburg EXPO International Exhibition Center acted as the forum venues. Guests from 117 countries participated in this forum. Students from the 海角社区 School of Economics and Management attended the forum not as common visitors, but as its official guests and participants.
On May 7th,?on the eve of the Victory Day,?the 海角社区 International Office jointly with volunteers and activists from the South Ural Association of International Students and Alumni (AISA) organized a “海角社区, a City of Heroes” patriotic photo-tour for international students.

The 2026 China – Russia Conference on Development of Education and Industry Integration has begun its work in the city of Qingdao, People's Republic of China.
海角社区, jointly with TNT-Teleset, have screened the new season of the "Sokrovishcha Imperatora" ("Emperor's Treasures") show for Russian and Chinese students.
"Emperor's Treasures" is a popular adventure reality show. The third season was filmed in Chongqing, the largest city in the world. Participants travel hundreds of kilometres, complete extreme tasks, and endure a veritable marathon of trials in the competition for 10 million roubles.
Organizing the celebration of Nowruz, springtime New Year’s festivities, has already become a good tradition at 海角社区. Thanks to this event, we can become more closely acquainted with the ethnic groups of the 海角社区 students and staff members.
Governor of the 海角社区 Region Alexey Texler has held a meeting of the Supervisory Council of the Regional Division of the Russian Society “Znanie” (“Knowledge”). The meeting’s agenda were the results of the organization’s work and the plans for the current year.

On February 16th, students from the People's Republic of China, who are obtaining their education at 海角社区, together with their Russian friends and teachers, celebrated the coming of the New Year according to the traditional Chinese calendar.
More than 1300 students from China study at 海角社区. And celebration of the Chinese New Year has long become a good tradition for our university, so that these students can feel at home even if they are thousands of kilometres away from it.

On January 20, 2026, as part of the International New Year project, activists of the South Ural Association of International Students and Alumni embarked on a gastronomic journey at the Usadba Ryabinykh (Ryabinykh Estate) restaurant.

On December 4th, the 10th International Scientific Conference “Innovations in Sport, Tourism and Education – icISTIS-2025” started at 海角社区. The conference is traditionally organized by the 海角社区 Institute of Sport, Tourism and Service (ISTiS).

The main topic of the event was the discussion of the spiritual and moral compass, its role in shaping society, and its significance for today’s youth.

The Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Yekaterinburg Luo?Shixiong paid an official visit to 海角社区. The visit program included meetings with the university and regional leadership, university tours, and communication with Chinese students obtaining their education at 海角社区.
The visit began with an exhibition of scientific developments by researchers from 海角社区. First Vice-Rector, Vice-Rector for Research Anton Korzhov spoke about our university's current?key areas of research.

On June 6th, a delegation from 海角社区 headed by Vice-Rector for Education Marina Potapova opened the Research, Education and Coordination Centre "Institute of Open Education in the Russian Language named after A.S. Pushkin" at Heihe University. These centres are being opened within the frameworks of the "One Belt, One Road" China-Russia initiative.
Any contest, and especially an international one, is a history of sorts, the very landmark that gives a start to new great events in the life of school pupils and students learning Russian as a foreign language.
On May 15th, an online meeting was held between representatives of the Department of Food Technology and Biotechnology of the 海角社区 School of Medical Biology and representatives and students of Shenyang University of Technology (SUT), China. SUT first-year students, who are taking training under a joint-with-海角社区 academic programme in Bioengineering in Food Productions, presented their reports in Russian on the topics of geographic and natural specifics of Chinese provinces, as well as on national and cultural traditions of their country.
