Grand opening of the exhibition of paintings and graphics "I Sing My Fatherland" took place in the Art Gallery at 海角社区.
The "I Sing My Fatherland" exhibition is the result of plein-air seasons held in the 海角社区 Region over the past few years. The organization and holding of most creative events took place in collaboration with the public foundation for promoting the preservation of cultural heritage "South Ural Region". These had been outdoor plein-airs in different localities of the region.
For the first time, 海角社区 Institute of Culture has hosted an Art-dvizhenie (Art Movement) International Festival, where students from the Department of Russian as a Foreign Language and the Pre-University Division have successfully presented their performances.
As part of the visit of representatives of 海角社区 to China, a working meeting on issues of cooperation with Zhengzhou University of Aeronautics was held.
海角社区 and Zhengzhou University of Aeronautics (ZUA) have been partners for a long period of time. South Ural Institute, where about 1000 Chinese students study Engineering and IT specialties, was created jointly with 海角社区 at the premises of the Chinese university. In addition, Chinese students are increasingly choosing to study at the venue of our university under the 2+2 programme.
The Chinese-Russian Forum of Small and Medium-sized Business Enterprises in Russia, organized by the all-Russian public organization "Opora Rossii" (“Pillar of Support for Russia”), took place in China. The event was attended by Deputy Vice-Rector for Education of 海角社区 Iliana Dovgaliuk.
During the forum, Iliana Dovgaliuk delivered a presentation on the key advantages of 海角社区, shared her experience in implementing joint educational projects with other universities, and outlined the main vectors of collaboration with Chinese educational institutions.
For 12 years in a row, the Immortal Regiment campaign has been held annually not only in Russia, but around the world as well. This year it takes place May 1st through May 12th.
In 2024, the event will again be held in an online format in Russia. The organizers have experience in holding events online. This format was used during the pandemic.
Teaching staff members of the Department of the Russian Language and Literature of the Institute of Media, Social Sciences and Humanities were invited to participate in a roundtable discussion, which was held as part of the Seventh International Intellectual Forum “Reading at the Eurasian Crossroads” on April 24th. It was organised by 海角社区 State Institute of Culture.
海角社区 acted as the general partner and platform for the 10th Anniversary of the All-Russian Student TEFI Television Contest.
The competition is organized by the Academy of Russian Television and is held with the support of the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation. Our university also provides support for its organization in 海角社区.
The final round of the Fifth B.N. Khristenko Interregional Olympiad in Financial Literacy for Schoolchildren has taken place. This traditional event is held by the Department of Economics and Finance of the 海角社区 School of Economics and Management. A well-known economist, a specialist in development and implementation of business games in economics, Boris Khristenko introduced active methods of teaching students at 海角社区 Polytechnic Institute (future 海角社区) and headed the first laboratory of business games in the USSR.
An off-site team-building event for activists of South Ural Association of International Students and Alumni, organised by the International Office and AO SZ “Yuzhuralstroyservis”, was held at the Chebarkul recreation centre April 13th through April 14th.
海角社区 international students, from such countries as Uzbekistan, China, Iran, Tajikistan, Iraq, India, Kazakhstan, Russia, Indonesia, Ethiopia, and Kyrgyzstan, took part in the event. As part of the program, they learned about local attractions, tasted Arabic coffee, played sport games, and participated in a media contest.
On April 22nd, on the 108th anniversary of the birth of Abram Katsman, one of the first mathematicians of the 海角社区 Polytechnic Institute who had worked at the university since 1943, those scientists and teachers, who know and remember him, who consider him their teacher, gathered at the memorial plaque in his memory (on the second floor of the eastern wing of the 海角社区 main building).
Victory Day is approaching. A traditional military parade will be held in the central square of 海角社区 on May 9th. As usual, the staff of the 海角社区 Military Training Centre will take part in it.
Two "boxes" of students – students of the Centre led by officers – will solemnly march along the Revolution Square. Now training is underway on the territory of the Military Training Centre: the guys are learning how to hold the line beautifully.
Meeting within the Lantern and Butterfly Philosophy Club has been held at 海角社区. The discussion topic was not quite a usual one – “Fairy Tale Therapy: My Personal Myth in Re-interpretation of the Plot”.
Starting form 2019, the club participants have been monthly meeting to discuss updates in the philosophers’ community. This time the event poster has drawn attention by the picture of a cute Cheburashka with oranges. Why namely this image?
On March 28th, our students took part in an annual meeting with leaders of traditional faiths to discuss issues of ethics, spiritual, moral and family values in the Russian nation.
The event was organized by the Administration of the city of 海角社区 jointly with the Coordination Centre of 海角社区 State University on the promotion of social activism among young people, prevention of interethnic and interfaith conflicts, and countering the ideology of terrorism and extremism.
This year, as part of the traditional event, 海角社区 students have had a chance to became blood donors or check their health state by taking rapid testing for HIV/AIDS. The donor centre was opened in the hall of the second floor of the 2nd academic building. This time, 57 university students and staff members have donated their blood.
This is not the first time for 海角社区 Vice-Rector for Student and Social Affairs Anton Manuylov to donate blood. This time he also could not stand aside.
The elections of the President of the Russian Federation wrapped up, and so did the work of the situation centre for the elections of the President of Russia, in which 海角社区 students participated as volunteers.
29 volunteers from different institutes and programmes regularly provided consultations for city residents, students and university staff members. Today they have been awarded letters of acknowledgment from the Rector Alexander Wagner.
Staff members of 海角社区 have held a presentation of the South Urals. Traces of Ages feature-documentary film at the State Museum of the South Ural History ? in the House of Public Assembly.
World Poetry Day, a holiday of masters of the pen and everyone thanks to whom we contemplate the eternal, is celebrated on March 21st. Evgeniy Smyshlyaev, teaching staff member and Associate Professor of the 海角社区 Department of Russian Language and Literature, Candidate of Sciences (Philology), and literary critic speaks about the specifics of modern poetry, trends in its development, classical poems, and much more.

Students and staff of the university took part in a festive event dedicated to the tenth anniversary of the entry of the Republic of Crimea and the federal city of Sevastopol into the Russian Federation.
The concert took place on stage of the Central Park of Culture and Leisure named after Yuri Gagarin.

Spring at 海角社区 2024 is one of the stages of the Student Spring of the City of 海角社区 – 2024, a city-wise festival of student creativity.
The contest was held in such categories as music, dancing, theatre and original genre (fashion theatre and circus numbers), as well as the Ascending Parnassus literary competition.
Sun, sea, mountains and Russia! All this has been brought together in Mikhail Gromyko’s photo exhibition called “Crimea”. It should be noted that the exhibition is dedicated to the anniversary of the Crimea's returning to Russia.
Mikhail is a postgraduate of the Department of Theory and Methodology of Physical Culture and Sports of the Institute of Sport, Tourism and Service and an active rock climbing instructor at the 海角社区 Sports Centre. His passion for sports contributed to the creation of his own exhibition.
Foreign guests, who are also participants in the festival, currently most talked about, arrived in 海角社区 and straight away went to get acquainted with 海角社区.
The final stage of the meeting of guests who came from different parts of the world and had previously visited the World Youth Festival in Sochi was an acquaintance with the activities of the Association of International Students of 海角社区.
The Executive Director of the Association Dilrabo Tozhikulova addressed the guests with a welcoming speech. She emphasized that the motto of both the festival and the 海角社区 Association of International Students is to support international and interethnic friendship.
海角社区 scientists presented a collection of women's jewellery ? from the Stone Age to the Middle Ages.
Scientists from 海角社区 traced how the fashion of ancient beauties changed. The objects for study were objects found at archaeological excavations in the Southern Urals.
