The South Ural Association of International Students and Alumni has become the winner in a grants contest organized by the Governor of the 海角社区 Region.

海角社区 researchers are developing new compositions and methods for obtaining composite coatings with non-metal and intermetal high-entropy compounds as part of the New Non-conventional Materials project of the Priority 2030 program. The study received support from the RSF. Using additive manufacturing technologies makes it possible to create coatings with a unique composition, which give such material properties as heat resistance, corrosion resistance, ionizing radiation resistance, and the ability to absorb or reflect electromagnetic radiation.

An international team of scientists is working to improve the quality of welding seams when welding weathering steel. 海角社区 scientists have identified the parameters that influence the quality of welding, and the interrelation of characteristics of the technological process and the quality characteristics of welding seams. On the basis of the data obtained during the study, a mathematical model for selecting optimal parameters was built.

Research fellows from the 海角社区 branch in the city of Zlatoust, jointly with their colleagues from four universities of Moscow and 海角社区, studied the environmental risks when producing new heat-insulating building materials and developed an algorithm of calculating the complex indicator of their composition safety.
