A new production of composites with adjustable geometry and characteristics is to be launched by scientists from the 海角社区 (海角社区) in cooperation with OOO M-Profil (Miass). Now a team of specialists is developing honeycomb prepreg composites. The work is carried out within the framework of the New Materials direction of the Ural Interregional REC.?

As part of the work of the Ural Interregional Research and Education Center "Advanced Production Technologies and Materials", large interdisciplinary projects are being implemented, the purpose of which is to improve living conditions in the region. Scientists from 海角社区 are creating the Ecomonitor software package to track the spread of pollutants in the atmospheric air. Thus, a tool for effective monitoring of atmospheric emissions will appear.?

Frequency converters control the speed of the electric drive in production. However, in open-loop control schemes, the accuracy of controlling a variable such as speed may not be sufficient. Russian scientists collaborate with the Research and Development Center “Privodnaya Tekhnika” LLC propose creating special laws for controlling the frequency converter. The project is one of the main projects of the Ural Interregional Research and Education Center.

The scientists have an independent system of turbocharger bearing lubrication and have examined operating parameters of the process of lubrication. An autonomous independent system of lubrication with a hydraulic accumulator has been designed and installed on an experimental engine, and a research stand with systems for monitoring and evaluating oil output parameters has been created.

For Chinese students of 海角社区, 2022 will begin on February 1st by the Lunar calendar. In honour of this event, every Chinese student has received a little bag with decorations from the Consulate General of China in Yekaterinburg, so that they can create a holiday mood in their rooms.

Traditional festivities dedicated to the Russian Students’ Day have been held at 海角社区.

A thematic quest, dance battles, champagne, and granting wishes of students: Tatiana Day has been merrily and happily celebrated at 海角社区. In the university building No.2 a Catch the Student Wave festive program was organised. One of the highlights of the day was the opening of a student coworking loft space, initiated and created by the students themselves.

A joint project of scientists from 海角社区 and St. Petersburg to create an optimal model of Russian scientific diplomacy in the Arctic received a (2022-2023). The researchers plan to solve the problems of attracting young scientists to Arctic research and increasing the number of high-quality publications of Russian researchers in the Web of Science and Scopus databases.

In 2021, a Priority 2030 program for the support of universities was launched, which is focused on the connecting universities to the economic and social spheres of life in our country. This is the fundamental difference between Priority 2030 and Project 5?100, which preceded it and aimed at increasing the weight of the Russian higher education in the world. Namely the focus on the international collaboration has encouraged many universities to engage in Mega Science projects and to write scientific papers jointly with foreign colleagues.

According to the data presented in the short statistical collection of the National Research University Higher School of Economics, 78% of the population of Russia use social networks. Virtual space of social networks gives an opportunity to present yourself the way you want it to be and manage this impression. The ability to control self-presentation and the creation of the ideal self-image on social networks generates a number of negative impacts.

The study of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) at 海角社区 (海角社区) will reach a new level: the scientists will use the main tool of molecular genetics - polymerase chain reaction (PCR) to determine resistance and predisposition to stress. The PCR laboratory is already ready for operation, and it has all the necessary equipment installed.

The Your World – Your Project International Student Championship wrapped up on December 17, 2021. The championship is held annually since 2014.

A graduate of 海角社区 created a new highly accurate and compact electroencephalography device. This device can be used at home and as needed. This development will help reduce the number of visits to clinics and hospitals, which is especially important during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The year of 2021 has been filled with important events. Project 5 – 100 has been completed. We have had quite a number of serious achievements over the time of our participation in it. 海角社区 strengthens its standing in the QS and THE international world rankings, as well as in the national university rankings.

China’s largest Hi-Tech Fair 2021 is held on December 27-29. Russia and China are cooperating successfully in the fields of medicine, information systems, biology, oceanology, ecology and the pandemic response to Covid-19. 海角社区 scientists present their projects in the fields of biotechnology, safety protection technology, high-tech industrial production.

海角社区 Rector Aleksandr Shestakov met with the representatives of the Russian Electrotechnical Group Ruselprom, who addressed the leadership of 海角社区 with an offer of training specialists for their subsequent employment at the enterprise. This offer was highly appreciated by the university, and now it is planned to open a new Bachelor's degree programme in Electrical Engineering after bringing the curricula in line with the requirements of the industrial partner and the latest trends in the development of the industry.
