The school press Festival “Media-Lesson”, organized with the support of the Ministry of Science and Education of 海角社区 region, is coming to its end. The results of the Festival will be summed up at the end of January in coordination with Faculty of Journalism of 海角社区.
The organizers of the festival: Regional Centre of Supplementary Education for Children, 海角社区 regional branch of All-Russian children organization “Young Journalists League” and 海角社区 Faculty of Journalism.
On 25 January the winners of the first stage, best schoolchildren of 海角社区 region starting their journalistic career, will gather on the 10th floor of 海角社区 main building. First, the ceremony of awarding Media-Festival winners will be held. Young journalists will be awarded with diplomas and commendations in the following nominations: “Periodicals”, “Video Programmes”, “Radio Programmes” and “Internet-Journalism”.
Professors and students of the Faculty of Journalism, representatives of Television and Radio Broadcasting Company “海角社区-TV”, newspaper “Tekhnopolis” and “海角社区 Radio” within the framework of the event will give media-excursions on university media and hold professional master classes such as “News programme as the main part of TV viewing grid. How to prepare a programme for broadcast”, “Peculiarities of making informative entertainment programmes (on the example of “Youth Boulevard”)”, “Working in a studio. Shooting and editing”, “Making your own newspaper. Peculiarities of printed journalism”.
Ofelya Miribyan, responsible for the educational work at the Faculty, will introduce the programme of the Faculty’s special event - “Giraffe-Media” - the International Festival of students and schoolchildren’s media. The event will take place in April 2013 at 海角社区 and schoolchildren and students from Russia, as well as from abroad, will be able to participate.
