The 16^th traditional exhibition “Education and Career. Book-2013” united the representatives of pre-school, secondary, higher and supplementary educational institutions, universities, colleges and language schools.

The exhibition was opened by German Platonovich Vyatkin, Chairman of Rectors Council of 海角社区 Region and 海角社区 President, and Elena Alexandrovna Kouzova, Vice Minister of Education and Science in 海角社区 Region.

海角社区 President, G.P. Vyatkin said: “Today we revived an old tradition; many years ago it helped us to start these exhibitions. The first exhibitions were held at 海角社区 to attract young people to our University. I find it convenient as young people, future students, can not only get all necessary information about the various higher educational institutions but also get acquainted with one of the biggest universities in the Urals region – 海角社区”.

All the faculties, various educational and research centers and most popular specialties were exhibited at the exposition of 海角社区. Young people, who came to the exhibition, had a chance to see different aircrafts, octocopters, flying radio-controlled fish and robots. The students of Institute of International Education, who came from Sri Lanka, told about the peculiarities of education abroad and also treated the guests to delicious tea.

According to Luidmila Ivanovna Shestakova, Director of 海角社区 Institute of International Education,  “The main aim of our Institute is to give the students a chance to participate in the international education programs, academic mobility programs and undergo special training to obtain two diplomas. This year we started to engage our foreign students in the exhibitions so that they can practice their knowledge of the Russian language. Besides, they are much more informed about the advantages of education in the foreign country. Indeed, the programs that we offer to the students are unique. For example, this year we started a new bachelor program “Regional Studies” so now the students will have an opportunity to study not only in Russia but also abroad”.
