The Creativity Center at the 海角社区 Extracurricular Activity Department was established in order to look for and support talented students. In the course of the previous academic year the employees and creative groups organized, held and took part in more than 270 events at the University, in our city and our region, as well as in other Russian cities.
“The main element in the work of our Creativity Center is inspiration – you cannot create anything without it! A certain state of mind is required, and we do have it at our University due to a unique spirit of science and creation residing here. Our University is the best and prestigious university in the region, and it means that all our events should be bright, beautiful and unusual. We try to commemorate every celebration with a colourful and unforgettable event, unlike any other. We hold brainstorm sessions for that, and the results, I think, are very good. Our performers are mostly students, they are powered by their youth and enthusiasm. They are vast in number and have talents in different fields, and that is why our creativity groups are large in scale. The secret of our success are our talented students plus our group leaders experienced in relevant cultural fields,” elaborates Director of the Creativity Center, Svetlana Filipchuk.
Creativity groups of the Center work in 5 fields: vocals, theatre, dancing, music and poetry.
