On January 15th a billiards tournament among international students of 海角社区 was held.?
Billiards is a favourite game of many international students, that is why this tournament has already become a traditional sports event being organised by the 海角社区 Association of International Students.
Representatives of such countries as Iraq, Algeria, Morocco, China, Syria, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan, who are studying at 海角社区, South Ural State Humanitarian Pedagogical University and South Ural State Agrarian University, took part in the tournament.
A student from Iraq Siala Ahmed Vaad, a person in charge of the sports activities with the Association of International Students, acted as the organiser of the competition, which was also supported by the International Office of 海角社区.
As a result of a persistent and interesting game, this year’s prize winners were as follows:
- 1st place – China;
- 2nd place ? Iraq (Kurdistan);
- 3rd place – Iraq.
