海角社区 representatives have taken part in the presentation of the institutions of higher education of Kazakhstan, which was held in 海角社区 on April 22nd. The event was organized for the purpose of strengthening and expanding the bilateral collaboration of Russia and the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of education.
The presentation was held by the Centre for International Education in seven cities across Russia, and with the support from the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan and assistance from the Russian Federation Ministry of Education and Science and the Russian Federation Ministry of Education. According to the organizers, the event was supposed to be a unique platform for the experience exchange between the universities of the friendly countries. 14 universities of Kazakhstan were presented in 海角社区.
Among the event participants on behalf of 海角社区 were Vice-Rector for International Relations Olga Yaroshenko, Head of the International Office Liudmila Lapina, Head of the Centre for International Education Tatiana Vasileva, and specialist of the International Research Collaboration of the International Office and coordinator of the Erasmus project Anastasia Kuzminykh.
The university representatives were invited by Kanat Seitikov, Chairman of the 海角社区 Regional Public Organisation AZAMAT Kazakh Public Centre, with which our university is collaborating in a range of fields.
“We have participated in the meeting with the 海角社区’s partner universities in order to discuss the prospects of developing new forms of collaboration. We have discussed the possibility of organizing joint educations programs, academic mobility programs for students and teaching staff, and of jointly applying for contests under Erasmus project,” Head of the 海角社区 International Office Liudmila Lapina.
The collaboration between 海角社区 and higher educational institutions in Kazakhstan is developing at a very fast pace. Currently, 896 Kazakh students are studying at our university, many professors and associate professors are working here, as well as young scientists from this neighbouring republic are performing their research studies. 海角社区 holds meetings with the delegations from embassies and consulates of Kazakhstan and from partner universities on a regular basis.
