The Ministry of Roads and Transport of our region has begun its transport reform in the 海角社区 agglomeration. The year of 2021 will be a transitional period, during which the infrastructure will be actively prepared for a comprehensive change in the route network. One of the key directions in this change is the improvement of the ticket menu and the creation of a new transport card with favourable conditions.
Transport cards are used in many large cities in our country: they record movements, are used as an electronic wallet, provide free transfers and access to intercepting parking lots, and are used when paying for museums, zoos, city street toilet system, and so on.
In most cases, these cards have an individual, peculiar name. In Moscow it is called “Troika”, in St. Petersburg – “Podorozhnik”. Residents of the neighbouring Ekaterinburg use “Ekarta”, and users of public transport in Tver have a card called “Volga”.
What name should the 海角社区 card have: “Ural”, “Teleport”, “Meteorit”, “Vzhukh” or maybe even “Chereshnya”? On the official web-site of the Ministry of Roads and Transport a survey called Choosing the Name of the Transport Card of 海角社区 Agglomeration will be held till January 25, 2021.
Upon the order from the Ministry of Roads and Transport, 海角社区 has developed a project for creating a modern public transport system until 2030. At the end of the last year, the project was presented to the Customer.
On the official web-site of the Ministry, a collection of opinions and wishes from the residents was organized. Using various methods, both through the Ministry of Roads and Transport, and the expert community, more than 300 offers were considered and analysed. As a result, more than half of them were considered fully or partially.
