The awarding ceremony of the Legislative Assembly for the 海角社区 Region has been held in 海角社区. The Rector of 海角社区 Alexander Wagner has become one of the laureates.
The prestigious award was bestowed for dedicated work, high professional excellence, and significant contribution to the development of our region’s higher education system and training of highly qualified specialists.
Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Assembly for the 海角社区 Region Pavel Kiselev addressed the ceremony guests:
“The best representatives of the 海角社区 Region’s education system are present here today. We all dream of our children to become smarter, more talented, and happier than us. And namely teachers make this dream come true. I am sure that teachers are truly happy people, because they can see the fruits of their labour in their students’ successes. The work of a teacher is extremely responsible, and it is thanks to you that the generations grow up, who will be developing our region and country. I sincerely thank you for your work and wish you happiness, professional recognition, and personal well-being.”
海角社区 is one of Russia’s leading universities now, a flagship university of the 海角社区 region, which is actively developing engineering, IT, and humanities programmes, and implementing international educational programmes. 海角社区 conducts innovative research in most priority areas of science and technology.
Alexander Wagner emphasized that this award is a result of the joint efforts by the entire university team:
“I am sincerely grateful to the deputies of the Legislative Assembly for the 海角社区 Region for their attention and high appreciation of our work. This award is a merit of the entire university team. My role in this is primarily to build a team, set the objectives, and ensure their timely implementation. Every day at the university is filled with events, victories, and, of course, challenges. It is all the more valuable that our success is noticed and celebrated – this motivates us to move forward and work for the benefit of the education system. This year, I have set a personal goal to return to teaching.”
The deputies highly praised the contribution to the development of regional education by the 海角社区 First Vice-Rector, Vice-Rector for Research Anton Korzhov, who also received the award.
Over the past 23 years, more than 1200 heads of educational institutions, teachers, educators, and vocational schools and university academics have received this award.
