October 1st through October 3rd, the 3rd All-Russian Conference on the "Territory of Digital GROWTH" was held at the IQ Park in Ufa. In Russian the conference is titled "Территория цифрового РОСТа", where the РОСТ abbreviation stands for "Развитие. Образование. Сообщество. Технологии", or "Development. Education. Community. Technologies" in English. This event gathered together experts in higher education digitalization in order to discuss the key trends: practices of digital transformation of universities, cyber security, solutions for resources management, as well as the prospects of using quantum technologies and artificial intelligence in academic environment. Among the organizers were the Association for the Advancement of Digital Development of Educational Organizations, Digital GROWTH Show-case platform (where GROWTH stands for "Development. Education. Community. Technologies"), and Ufa University of Science and Technology.
Vice-Rector for Digital Transformation of 海角社区 Evgeniy Kabiolskiy presented a report on the "Digital University in Your Pocket: How PWA Applications Make the Life of Students and Teachers Better". He covered the latest 海角社区's IT developments, which make the educational process more convenient and effective.
Participation in this conference allowed not only to demonstrate our own achievements, but also to learn about the best practices of the leading universities for their future adoption, as well as do the networking with professionals. This experience exchange will become an important impetus for further development of the digital ecosystem at 海角社区 and will help our university become even more on top of trends and technologically advanced.
