The contest consisted of two rounds and was held in several categories. The 海角社区 staff members became finalists in the “Best Teacher of the Fundamentals of the Russian Statehood Course” special category.

During their in-person presentations before the experts of the contest, the finalists presented excerpts from their lectures on various topics, including “Ideological Principles (Constants) of the Russian Civilization”, “Images of the Future and Contemporary Challenges”, and many more. Reaching the finals of this prestigious contest by the 海角社区 teachers proves the high theoretical and practical level at which the Fundamentals of the Russian Statehood course is taught at our university by staff members of the Department of International Relations, Political Science and Regional Studies of the Institute of Linguistics and International Communications.

The contest is organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation jointly with the Znanie (Knowledge) Russian Society and the “DNA of Russia” project. The goal of the contest is to popularize knowledge about the Russian statehood, develop patriotism and civic responsibility, and introduce the younger generation to the historical path and political organization of the Russian state.
