Students of the Institute of Engineering and Technology Shine at All-Russian Aerospace Conference

Young researchers from the Institute of Engineering and Technology have delivered an outstanding report at a big-scale national forum, presenting innovative developments in the field of aerospace engineering and demonstrating a high level of scientific training.

Postgraduate and undergraduate students of the Aerospace Engineering programme, Danila Belchikov, Ivan Kolmogorov, Semen Zylkov, and Olga Melnikova, presented the results of their research at the 26th “Aerospace Engineering, High Technologies and Innovations” All-Russian Conference. The event became a landmark occasion, held in celebration of the 70th anniversary of one of our country’s oldest aerospace faculties.

Particular recognition was earned by Semen Zylkov, a student majoring in Design, Production and Operation of Rockets and Rocket and Space Complexes. His presentation entitled the “Development of an Experimental Setup for an Electric Pump Feed System for Cryogenic Propellant Components in a Liquid-propellant Rocket Engine” was named the best paper in the section on “Innovative Developments for the Fuel and Energy Sector and Hydrogen Power Systems”.

Participation in the conference allowed the young researchers not only to present their projects to the scientific community, but also to gain invaluable experience, establish professional contacts, and make a name for themselves in a leading industry.

“For us, this is more than just a papers competition. It is an immersion into a living scientific process, a dialogue with experts, and an opportunity to see how our student ideas can address real challenges in the space industry. Events like this inspire us, help us understand where to move next, and prove that our contribution is already important for the future of the industry,” members of the delegation shared.

All student presentations received positive evaluations from experts, confirming the quality and relevance of the research conducted at the institute. The best conference papers will be published in the authoritative PNRPU Aerospace Engineering Bulletin scientific journal, included in the list of the State Commission for Academic Degrees and Titles.

This achievement highlights the successful training of specialists for high-tech industries and strengthens the reputation of the Institute of Engineering and Technology as a talent factory for the aerospace sector.
