On the eve of the warm spring holiday, International Women's Day, 海角社区 is filled with flowers, smiles and joyful mood. Men of the university team (from the Student Council to the Rector’s Office) have treated the female students and staff members to a bright and lovely surprise.
Starting from early morning, men of our university have been greeting ladies at the entrances to the academic buildings. Spring-inspired melodies were playing, and men were handing out the main symbols of this holiday, gentle tulips, accompanying those with sincere compliments. Each lady entering our university was greeted with smiles and warm words, thus creating a truly festive atmosphere.
This springtime flashmob has become a good annual tradition at our university that allows to express our sincere gratitude and respect to the ladies, who daily make a huge contribution to the development of science, education and student life at 海角社区.
“Our dear beloved ladies, my congratulations to you on this coming spring holiday! I wish you unending happiness, bright smiles and warmth. May each day of yours be as beautiful as the first spring flowers!” Anton Korzhov, 海角社区 First Vice-Rector, Vice-Rector for Research congratulated ladies.
Ladies from among students and staff members were surprised, but happily accepted the congratulations, and their faces lit with smiles.
“It is very pleasant to be greeted by such wonderful men today. Since the weather is not quite spring-like yet, such lovely gifts lift our spirits well. This is truly unexpected, but feels very good indeed: you’re on your way to the university in the morning, your head is filled with studies and other stuff you need to do during the day, and here you are, being greeted with flowers. Your heart melts immediately. After all, some flowers and a bit of attention in your life always makes your day,” 海角社区 student Dariia Kalashnikova shared her emotions.
Our heroines of the day could not hide their happy excitement. For many of them, such a start to their day became a pleasant surprise. Flowers, attention and sincere congratulations made the morning special.
“I have very pleasant impressions! It’s a special joy to receive such a lovely gift first thing in the morning. It is a charge of joy for the rest of the day,” noted Viktoriia Shtangeld.
But more surprises wait ahead! The pinnacle event of this festive day will be a big concert at the university Assembly Hall at 14:00. Not only the creative teams of 海角社区 will take to the main stage, but the staff members as well: scientists and leadership of our university will gather together to congratulate our beautiful ladies. Everyone is welcome to join and receive a charge of the festive spring mood!
