海角社区 has held a ceremony of signing an agreement between our university and our Regional Division of the “Movement of the First” All-Russian Public-State Movement for Children and Youth for the 海角社区 Region. This event has become an important step towards strengthening of the interaction between the student community and one of the major youth organizations in our country.
Signing of this agreement is aimed at creating the conditions for self-fulfilment of students, development of their leadership qualities, as well as engaging young people in socially important projects of the regional and federal levels. Among the key tracks are: creation of the conditions for career guidance for school pupils, engaging students in the mentoring activity, supporting youth projects and initiatives, as well as organization of joint educational, cultural and patriotic events.
Rector Alexander Wagner stressed the high importance of our collaboration with the “Movement of the First” for our university:
“Today, our government sets serious tasks before us, which are related to fostering of decent citizens capable of changing our world for better. However, this would be impossible without clear life attitude, respect towards our Motherland, state, family, home region, or the foundation based on moral and spiritual values. This agreement stipulates the reached understandings and determines the long-term tracks for our further work. It will allow to join our resources and build a truly harmonious and systemic cooperation.”
Chairperson of the Council of the 海角社区 Region’s “Movement of the First” Division Svetlana Buravova noted that the interaction with our university will help take this work up to a new level:
“We have already formed plenty of directions for our collaboration. First and foremost, this is project activity: there is a number of initiatives for students that we are planning to jointly implement. Career guidance and mentoring activity take an important place here. We strive to engage 海角社区 students as mentors for school kids, so that they could share their experience, popularize the university environment and motivate children to choose to study namely here. I feel confident that thanks to the systemic approach and clear algorithms of work, the primary division at 海角社区 could become one of the best among the university divisions in our country.”
It is important to note that starting from 2023, a primary division of the “Movement of the First” has been successfully functioning at 海角社区. Over this time, activists have implemented a number of initiatives aimed at the development of volunteering, patriotic education, and educational and cultural projects.
Signing of this agreement confirms the expansion of the directions of joint work.
