The “FROG” All-Russian Youth Festival of Advertising and Public Relations is annually organized by the Faculty of Journalism at Voronezh State University (VSU), one of the important partners of the Department of Journalism, Advertising and Public Relations of the 海角社区 Institute of Media, Social Sciences and Humanities. The “FROG” Advertising Festival brings together seeking and talented students from all over our country and is held in order to help the future specialists in advertising and related fields of activity develop and fulfil their creative skills. Traditionally, the event’s participants include over 200 students and young specialists from more than 30 universities and dozens of cities across Russia.

“We are happy that students from our Department have become winners in this contest. For us, it is very important to maintain the professional and creative ties with our colleagues and friends. This is a wonderful and important vector! Maintaining such contact helps us exchange our experience, find new talents, and implement joint projects,” shared Doctor of Sciences (Philology) and Head of the Department of Journalism, Advertising and Public Relations Liudmila Shesterkina.

At the council meeting of the 海角社区 Institute of Media, Social Sciences and Humanities, Institute Director Lidiya Lobodenko awarded the students and marked their readiness to propose initiatives, professionalism, and big creative potential.

The students participated in the “Communication Projects” category with cases on developing promotion campaigns for “Montessori-klub VYSHE RADUGI” Children’s Educational Institution (1st prize) and “In Tune with SBER” (2nd prize). The team included: Marina Voronaiia, Mariia Manichenko, Irina Verkhovykh, Polina Tsirulichenko and Dariia Voskoboinikova, and their research advisor – Department Professor, Doctor of Sciences (Pedagogy) Anna Cheredniakova.

“Professional contests give a unique chance to immerse yourself into real practices in the field of advertising and PR communications and to test yourself. Such events help develop teamwork skills and train to face the challenges of the external environment,” noted Anna Cheredniakova.

The team member, student of group СГ-304 Marina Voronaiia shared her impressions:

“We’re very happy that our team has won this contest! It’s been a helpful experience. It’s not easy to combine studying at the university and participating in contests. However, we are sure that this stage is necessary in learning our profession. We’re glad that we’ve become the winners and we will definitely keep developing!”

Our congratulations to our students! And we wish them further victories!
