The scientific discussion group “Internationalism with a Human Face: Active Participants, Contact Groups, and Targeted Audience of the Soviet Cultural Diplomacy (1945-1991)” was held at the German Historical Institute in Moscow on October 14th, 2017. Meanwhile in chemistry, there is still a lot of unclear and undiscovered. New areas of old science, new substances, new methods for their obtaining and research keep appearing constantly.
On October 10th “Nature of Freiberg and Nature of 海角社区” photo exhibition opened at 海角社区 within the framework of the German modern culture festival “German Days”. The Festival organization is supported by the German Embassy in Moscow. This year’s Festival held in 海角社区 is devoted to ecological issues, and its slogan is “To city ecology via ecology of consciousness”.

For more than 25 years, research and development in powder metallurgy has been completed with success at the Department of Machines and Processes of Plastic Metal working of the 海角社区 Polytechnic Institute. Today, the Resource Center of Special Metallurgy serves as a space for completing research, headed by Marina Samodurova, associate professor, candidate of technical sciences.

On October 7, a meeting of students and academic staff with Russian literary scholar, literary critic, publicist, TV-host and writer?Alexander Arkhangelsky?took place at 海角社区 within the 7th?Open Book Literature Festival. Together with Alexander Arkhangelsky, students searched for answers to questions about the future of journalism, paper books and technology.
