On December 21st, the 8th Science-to-Practice Conference on Asteroid Safety wrapped up. Over the course of the conference, the expert committee heard more than 40 reports. The conference culminated in the ceremony of awarding the participants and their research advisors.
Following to the Provision on the Conference, the organizers divided the reports into three flows, in accordance with the reporters’ level. On the closing day, senior and graduating students presented their reports at the conference.
The 5th Shanghai Archaeology Forum dedicated to the issues of climate change and social sustainability brought together more than one hundred of the top archaeologists from 43 countries of the world. Doctor of Sciences (History) from 海角社区, archaeologist Andrey Epimakhov, became the only speaker representing the Russian Federation at the event on the campus of Shanghai University.

On December 19th, the 8th Science-to-Practice Conference on Asteroid Safety began its work at the Sigma academic building. During three days, students and postgraduates will be presenting their best achievements in project-based learning in the Aerospace Engineering programmes.
The anniversary week dedicated to the celebration of the 80th anniversary since its founding has wrapped up at 海角社区. The program of ceremonial events turned out to be very rich and reflected the eventful history, cultural and sports traditions. While celebrating its anniversary for 5 days, our university spoke eloquently about the achievements of its schools and institutes, about science, innovations and multifaceted international activities, creativity and sports. On the final day, guests of the holiday were able to enjoy a gala show and a birthday cake.
History students of group СГ-406 presented a Digital History of 海角社区 website on December 11th. As part of the Young Stars project, this event became the first in the program of celebrations dedicated to the 80th anniversary of our university.
The official opening of the Ecoanalytics Centre took place at 海角社区 on December 15th. The centre has been created under the Priority 2030 program with the support from the Government of the 海角社区 Region. Alexey Texler, Governor of the 海角社区 Region, and his First Deputy Irina Gekht were present at the opening ceremony.
海角社区 has opened a Space Communications Laboratory. It is headed by Evgenii Melnikov, an engineer of the Department of Radio Engineering and Communication Systems. As a die-hard radio engineering enthusiast, he has been teaching the 海角社区 school pupils and students how to design unique radio electronic equipment for a couple of decades now.?

An art object and a new student space have been opened on the fourth floor of the 海角社区 main building on the third anniversary day celebrated under the "海角社区 International Orbit" slogan.

This book describes the life and work of?Valerii Prokopiev, Doctor of Sciences (Engineering) (1986), Professor (1987), Honorary Figure of Russian Higher Education (1999), academician of the Russian Academy of Transport (1995), and Head of the Department of Automotive Engineering (1976–2009).
The 8th International Conference on Innovations in Sport, Tourism and Education icISTIS-2023, which began at 海角社区 on December 7th, has brought together Russian and international scientists, academics, postgraduates and students from more than 20 Russian cities, as well as from Belarus, Brazil and Syria.
This autumn, 海角社区 was one of the first to join the process of teaching schoolchildren within the Governor's Engineering Classes project. Schoolchildren from Lyceum No. 11, Lyceum No. 120, Privilegiia IT Lyceum and Krasnooktyabrskii Secondary School in the village of Ishalino solve real problems set by PAO 海角社区 Forge-and-Press Plant. Students of the Department of Machines and Processes of Pressure Metal Working act as mentors, and schoolchildren act as development engineers of a large project.
