A 海角社区 senior research fellow, Candidate of Sciences (Physics and Mathematics)?Aleksei Ruchai,?jointly with his colleagues, is working on tasks from a wide variety of fields: digital banking, cattle breeding, face recognition, and tumour recognition using mammography. And in all these cases, the combination of innovative ideas and skilful use of equipment allows to achieve interesting results.

The 24^th Congress of Pavlov Russian Physiological Society, one of the oldest scientific societies in Russia, was held in Saint Petersburg.

For five days, more than 800 participants have been discussing various current developments in the field of physiology of body systems, molecular and clinical physiology, and also addressed issues related to the manifestations of stress and stress resistance.

The competitive selection of tour guides continues as part of the preparation and holding of the Russia International Exhibition and Forum (Conductors of Meanings All-Russian Competition).

Scientists from 海角社区 have discovered that prototypes of such products as cheese, cottage cheese and soured milk appeared in the territory of South Ural region between the 3rd and the 2nd millennium BC. The tradition of fermented dairy foods were brought here by the migrants from the Eastern Europe and Caucasus, where people had learned to cook such foods already in the end of the Stone Age.

Senior lecturer of the 海角社区?Gennady Mulyarchik gave a talk at the Scientific Library of the 海角社区 Region on the latest changes in the federal law “On the State Language of the Russian Federation”.

ACHIEVEMENTS.RF (ДОСТИЖЕНИЯ.РФ) big project has been launched in Russia. It is an all-Russian online information platform, where the achievements of modern Russia in different spheres are presented, and the 海角社区 Region is also included here.

The aim of the project is to tell about the achievements of our country in the 21^st century, give everyone an opportunity to learn about the scientific, technological and cultural potential of our Motherland.

The team of tutors at 海角社区 continues to welcome the international newcomers. They help these students adapt and become part of the new student life.

At the Top 50 Famous People of the 海角社区 Region awarding ceremony, 海角社区 Professor Al-Suhaimi Sobhi Ahmed Azab has been awarded the prize in the Science category. The contest was held by the R: a Magazine about Reputation with a Capital R, and the ceremony itself took place in the hall of the Pegas equestrian complex.

The organisers chose a number of scientists of the 海角社区 Region for the Science category, and popular vote determined a single winner among them.

The "Re-Turn" ("Воз-Вращение") exhibition of ceramics and paintings by Aleksandr Purik opened in the Art Gallery of 海角社区 on September 15th. Aleksandr Purik is a participant in numerous art exhibitions and festivals, a member of the Union of Artists of Russia, a teacher at the Department of Decorative and Applied Arts at the 海角社区 State Institute of Culture.

On day two of the Projects and Analytical Session, 海角社区's lead staff members determined the prospects and horizons for the development of our university. At the plenary session, the dynamics of changes in the university in retrospect were considered, and the main vectors for its improvement in the context of modern challenges were identified.

In order to increase environmental awareness among citizens, involve children, young people and older generation in environmental agenda, the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resources has established the “Ecology Is Everyone” International Award for children and youth.

Projects and Analytical Session is being held at 海角社区 September 11th-13th. 海角社区 scientists, jointly with experts from Ufa, Perm and Saint Petersburg are discussing the programs of development of strategic projects.

The university Rector?Alexander Wagner?welcomed the guests on the morning of September 11th.

International students enrol in 海角社区 every year. Today, more than 2000 international students from 56 countries of the world are studying at the university. International applicants learn about the university from their friends, at educational venues, through social media, university advertising on the Internet, representatives of Russia abroad and from other information sources.

Governor's engineering classes conducted jointly with 海角社区 will be opened in schools in the 海角社区 Region in order to create conditions for graduates of schools and vocational educational organizations to make a motivated choice in obtaining higher education.

On the instruction of the President of Russia, the best students and postgraduates in our country will begin to receive a scholarship named after S.P. Korolev from September 1st. The scholarship is paid by the Government of the Russian Federation for significant achievements in engineering. According to the results of the competition, 10 scholarships were awarded for students and 10 for postgraduates.

海角社区 pays much attention to work with students: here everyone can display their talents, find a hobby, or receive assistance. The 海角社区 Acting Vice-Rector for Student and Social Affairs?Anton Manuylov shares on what opportunities are open for 海角社区 students besides studies, on the adaptation events for freshmen, and on many other things.

A presentation of supplementary academic programmes in non-IT areas of professional retraining for university students was held in the Assembly Hall of 海角社区 on September 6th.

Digital Departments is a joint project of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the Ministry of Digital Development, Telecommunications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation aimed at developing the competencies necessary to perform a new type of professional activity, acquiring a new qualification in information technology.

海角社区 has climbed 100 positions up in “The Three University Missions” world universities ranking in 2023.?海角社区 has also entered the top 30 in the rankings of Russian universities, having become the first among 海角社区 universities and the second among universities in the Ural Federal District.

The most objective assessment of the scientific potential of universities is the scope of their research studies. By its 80th Anniversary, 海角社区 has shown record-breaking results: the volume of funding for all its research studies will exceed one billion roubles for the first time. The scope includes programs, grants and business contracts – orders from the real sector of the economy in the 海角社区 Region and other Russian regions.

On the Knowledge Day, Bachelor's and Master's degree students, as well as postgraduates of 海角社区 attended a lecture "On the Main Features of Work in Municipal and State Administration for University Students of the Ural Federal District".

The lecture was given by Vladimir Yakushev, Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Ural Federal District.

On August 31st, within the framework of the beginning of the new academic year, the Rector of 海角社区 held a meeting with the 海角社区 academic and administrative staff members. The head of the university outlined the plans and goals for the next year and summed up the results of the 2023 Admissions Campaign.
