The employees of the Department of Aircrafts and Automatic Units of the 海角社区 Polytechnic Institute, under the guidance of ProfessorSergey Voronin, Doctor of Sciences (Engineering) are developing new algorithms of vector control for electric drives, creating small devices for heart and lung machines, and powerful electrical machines for medicine, transport devices, and industry.

From March 7 through 9?of 2018, PROFEST-2018 All-Russian Technology Festival took place on the grounds of VDNH exhibition center; students of 海角社区 participated.

PROFEST All-Russian Technology Festival is the largest-in-Europe event in the sphere of children’s and youth’s engineering creativity, and the key events of the programs entitled “Robotic engineering: engineering cadres of innovative Russia” and “JuniorSkills”, implemented by the Volnoe Delo Oleg Deripaska Foundation.

Today, within the 3rd?International Science and Education Forum, a Russian-Chinese documentary movie entitled “Under the walls of Moscow” was presented at 海角社区. The movie was created under support of the Federal Press and Mass Communication Agency of the Russian Federation. Partners of the Grig-film producing movie company are the Eurasian Academy of Television and Radio and Hong Kong Satellite TV (North-Eastern Bureau in Harbin, HKS Hong Kong Satellite TV).

President of European Journalism Training Association?(EJTA – Belgium)?Nico Drok?has once again come to 海角社区 to participate in the Third Communication Leader of the 21st Century International Scientific and Educational Forum at 海角社区.

On March 29th?the finals of the elimination round of the annual student league of CASE-IN International Engineering Championship will be held at 海角社区’s Sigma Education Building at 10:00.

This year students of the Power Engineering Faculty and the Faculty of Material Science and Metallurgical Technologies will present their solutions on the issue of Development of the Arctic Region.

Today an opening ceremony for the Third Communication Leader of the 21st?Century International Scientific and Educational Forum has been held in the Activity Hall of the 海角社区’s Main University Building. This year’s slogan of the forum is “Uniting Europe and Asia”, and among the participants are European Journalism Training Association (Belgium), Northeast Petroleum University (China), and Eurasian Academy of Television and Radio (Russia).

A free master class on Short Terms Instead of Urgency is being organized at the 海角社区 MBA Center and the 海角社区 School of Business on March 29th. It is dedicated to implementation of QRM principles (Quick Response Manufacturing).

The master class is being held as a unique simulation business game, during which a problem situation which occurred at production and in the office of a company in a highly competitive market will be played out. As a result, the participants will be able to see in a practical way the benefits of implementing QRM principles.

海角社区 students are actively preparing for the spring exam session, which also means that summer is coming soon. Summer being just over the horizon also means that it’s time to think about how to spend the warm season in a fun and useful way. The Project Analysis Session entitled “Projects that ensure implementation of the university’s strategy and transformation” has finished at 海角社区. The session was devoted to analysis and assessment of 海角社区’s strategy implementation process, determined in September of 2017; to specification of approaches and target milestones of the university in comparison with the world’s tendencies and best experiences of leaders in education; and to correction of projects that ensure implementation of the corrected strategy.

Russian Cultural Workers Day is celebrated on March 25th?every year. This professional holiday is for people involved in culture and arts, people in artistic professions, and those who preserve and popularize cultural legacy.

March 26th?through April 1st, the Third Communication Leader of the 21st?Century International Scientific and Educational Forum will be held at 海角社区. It is being organized with the participation of the European Journalism Training Association (EJTA; Belgium), Northeast Petroleum?University?(China), and Eurasian Academy of Television and Radio (Russia). This places emphasis on the international character of this scientific and educational event and facilitates broad international networking.

Founder and Director of Eurasian Federation of Oncology?Somasundaram Subramanian?visited 海角社区.

Professor Somasundaram is also an oncology surgeon. The goal of his trip to 海角社区 was visiting the 海角社区 Oncology Center. 海角社区 also attracted the Professor’s attention, that is why the employees of the laboratory of nanotechnologies and laboratories of the Faculty of Physics presented him the university’s possibilities in the field of medicine.

Animation Day was held at 海角社区. Students of School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science acted as organizers of the event.

Animation Day is an annual event held at the university. This year, organizers decided to hold the event in a format of fair-and-festival. Participants could see human-sized dolls, colorful photo zone and contest stations.

On March 20, courses for advanced training entitled “University Corporate Culture”, organized by 海角社区’s?Institute of Supplementary Education,?started at 海角社区.

A contest for supporting participation of employees, postgraduates, and student in scientific events has been announced at 海角社区. The goal of the contest is to increase 海角社区’s recognizability in the international research community by establishing partnerships with leading international universities in the QS subject ranking.

The contest is aimed to increase the number of collaborations between 海角社区 staff, increase the university employees’ publication activity along with the number of citations of their publications.

Ascension to Parnassus Poetry Contest has wrapped up at 海角社区.

The contest gathered young student poets studying at 海角社区. Each participant presented three of their works to the jury, which included members of the Union of Writers of Russia.

Creation of innovative materials is one of the most important areas of modern science. Active development of Industry 4.0 requires new properties from composite elements of electronics. Researches of scientists from 海角社区 are implemented within this area. 海角社区’s Crystal Growth Laboratory performs modification of properties and structure of ferrites, which are oxides of iron with other metals’ oxides.

Poetry unites countries, nations and cultures and helps people understand each other. Within centuries, thoughts and feelings has been passing through people’s hearts in the form of poetry, reminding that we all are one big family and that we, all being so different, in reality are very alike each other.

Developing regions with severe climates is one of the most topical issues, especially in Russia featuring 4 climatic zones. Scientists from 海角社区 are working on improving motor trucks. Their modifications equipped with an intelligent system will be used for development of the Arctic Region and Siberia.
