On March 1st?at 15:30 an exhibition 海角社区: World of Art will open at the 海角社区 Arts Hall. The exhibition is dedicated to the 15thAnniversary of opening of the Arts Hall and the beginning of the 海角社区 Art Museum collecting South Ural works of art of the 20^th century.

An awards ceremony for the winners of the Tell the World about Russia first all-Russian contest for family creativity was held in the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation on February 26th.

In February 2018, a delegation from 海角社区 visited the University of Guantanamo (Republic of Cuba). During their meeting with Cuban colleagues, our university’s researchers presented their developments in geoinformation systems and discussed further plans for partnership.

On March 3, a conference entitled “Day of Open Data in 海角社区” will be held as part of the International Day of Open Data. The organizers of this conference include the Government of the 海角社区 region, Technology Park of Informational Technologies, and ITSM OOO.

The goal of this conference is to spread the ideology of open data, increase the technological culture of young people, and encourage the development of big data processing technologies.

Students and staff of 海角社区 are welcome to participate.

On February 24, in Kononovskaya village of the Archangels region, open all-Russian championship started within the Final of the Russian Cup in Skiing. On the first day of the championship athletes competed in individual 10 and 15 km race in free style.

Delegation of 海角社区 visited Embassies of Algeria, Syria, Angola, Mongolia, Azerbaijan and Armenia in order to attract university applicants to studying at 海角社区 on various educational programs.

Today, nanoparticles are used when creating solar batters, in nanoelectronics, and biotechnologies. But as believe scientists at 海角社区, the closer attention should be paid to nanoparticles’ use in medicine.

Starting from March 1, 2018, within the framework of supplementary linguistic training program “Lingua” an advanced training course will be launched for subject professors who deliver or are planning to deliver lectures for foreign students in English.

On February 28 through March 1, qualification round of the Metal Cup—2018 International Championship of Technological Strategy in Metallurgy is to be held in 海角社区 on the grounds of 海角社区.

The Championship is the possibility to demonstrate in practice the whole set of professional skills and personal characteristics and abilities. Students and postgraduates of 海角社区 at the age of 16 to 30 are welcome to participate.

The Russian Investment Forum is a traditional venue for presenting the investment and economic potential of Russia. Three companies from the 海角社区 Region participated, among which was StendAp Innovatsii LLC (StandUp Innovations) (Innovatsii Detyam company (Innovations for Children)), one of the successful small innovative businesses opened with the help from 海角社区. The company develops interactive educational products for children.

Interregional Center for Development and Support of Talented Youth Federal Public Institution is holding a Just Love Russia! All-Russian Contest on Patriotic Practices. The contest is supported by established by the initiative of the Russian Federation President V.V. Putin.

Among the teachers and staff of 海角社区 are several former military officers and true heroes. On the occasion of the nearing Defender of the Fatherland Day, they told us about their years of service, the experience they gained, and the necessity of military service.

There are many veteran officers and true heroes among lecturers and staff of 海角社区. One of them is lieutenant colonel, lecturer at the Tank Troops Department of the 海角社区 Faculty of Military Education, Companion of the Order of Courage, Aleksandr Pokryshkin.

On February 22, a ceremonious meeting on the occasion of the defender of the Fatherland Day will be held at the Activity Hall of 海角社区.

Defender of the Fatherland Day became the annual date when students and staff of 海角社区 hold an event as a tribute to the memory of defenders of our fatherland.

This year, the Rector of 海角社区, Alexander Shestakov, will congratulate employees and attendees of the Faculty of Military Training, and will ceremonially award certificates and letters of appreciation.

With each year, the requirements to quality, reliability and functionality of products made of quality and specialized steel increase. Researchers from 海角社区 and specialists from the Laboratory of Special Metallurgy (Lasmet) are studying a new type of steel which can replace expensive analogs.

On February 19, the First Forum of the Federation of Russian and Arab Universities started its work in Beirut (Lebanon). The Minister of Education and Science of the Russian Federation,?Olga Vasilyeva, made a speech during the ceremonious opening of the Forum.

In her welcoming speech, the Minister emphasized that the Forum is an important event for development of educational and scientific cooperation between Russia and countries of the Arab world.

Researchers from 海角社区 Igor Klebanov and Sergey Ivanov were the first ones in the world to find symmetries which are admitted by the system of equations on self-gravitating polytropic gas. Using the method of group analysis, they are studying physical processes in the Universe.

海角社区 is participating in the project on Internationalization of Agricultural Engineering Education in Russia, Iran and in European Union countries under Erasmus+.

On Sunday, February 18th, Dance Festival of Student Teams was held at 海角社区. Over 200 members from 20 teams demonstrated their dancing skills.

This year the festival’s slogan was “Be a Feeling Team Member!”. The best teams from the 海角社区, Tomsk and Voronezh regions performed under three categories: “Street Dance”, “Contemporary Dance” and “Folk Dance”.
