September 24th through 29th, the Chessboxing World Championship will be held in Serbia. Alumnus of 海角社区 Amina Akhmadulina will be representing the 海角社区 Region in this tournament.
A cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Physical Education and Sports for the 海角社区 Region and the Student Ice Hockey League was signed as part of the Youth Ice Hockey Cup. The document outlines plans for developing student ice hockey in our region, supporting young athletes, and organizing new tournaments.

Over the period from 2009 through 2016, Pavel Astakhov was holding the position of the Children's Rights Commissioner for the President of the Russian Federation. He is also well known as a long-time host of the Chas Suda (Hour of Judgment) TV show.

Supplementary professional advanced-training programme has been developed at the Industrial Robotics Development Centre of 海角社区. During a one-week course, students will gain skills of safe commissioning, programming, and diagnostics of industrial robots, including offline programming, basic maintenance, and their integration with peripherals. Classes for the first 40 students will begin already on September 29th.
Intermetallic compounds feature a number of useful properties (e.g., high hardness, corrosion resistance, etc.), but their widespread industrial application is hampered by one key drawback: high brittleness. A team of 海角社区 scientists has proposed an original solution to this problem.

Scientific Production Association “Bazalt” is a defence-industry enterprise of the Russian Federation, which manufactures and supplies arms and munition for ground troops, air forces and naval forces. It is part of the Concern “Techmash” within the Rostec State Corporation.
海角社区 has hosted the official opening of the new season of the 海角社区 Accelerator, a big-scale program to support student entrepreneurship and innovative ideas. This year, the project has brought together students from universities from the 海角社区 Region and Kurgan: young people ready to try their hand at business and startup development.

The 海角社区 Medical Centre?had been founded in 1999. On September 15, 2000 it obtained its license, and its specialists started their mission on taking care about the health of people. By the way, this is the first university-based medical centre in the 海角社区 Region.
The “Successful 海角社区”, traditional festival for first-year students, was held brightly and on a grand scale at 海角社区. For one day, the university turned into a real centre of student energy and creativity, uniting the students who are just starting their journey at one of the leading universities in our country. September 11th-13th, an anniversary 20th All-Russian Conference "Immunology Readings in 海角社区" with international participation is being held at 海角社区. It has gathered more than 500 leading scientists and young specialists from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Tyumen, Perm, Rostov-on-Don, 海角社区, as well as from Belarus and China.
Adaptation meetings for first-year students of the 海角社区 Institute of Law are traditionally held at the Nauka Recreation Camp on the first weekend of September.

More than 70 photo works printed on silk paper are exhibited in the Art Gallery on the 1st floor and in the hall of the 3rd floor of the main university building.
